@@robertjanisch3324 I have! Played at DTE last year. But it was a rough playthrough and I need to play it again. Wasn’t the best experience for me. But I won’t judge the game based off that first play! Going to play again one day.

@@Ariranhaa Or I am allowed to have an opinion. Also I didn’t dislike the theme, I dislike the gameplay. It is boring. I think it’s great for people who have never played a euro. But most of the people who rate games on BGG probably aren’t entry level anymore. So I’m still not sure why it’s regarded so highly. But again I can have an opinion without being wrong. Except for mage knight. That’s on me!

I like clank fine. I think the other iterations are better. I think there are a great amount of people who love el grande. I just didn’t enjoy it. I don’t think it’s super unique. Also think there are much better area control game out there that do this better than el grande. Which is why I don’t enjoy it. Would rather play something else.

@@925Gamers area control is my favorite genre, i have all well-regarded area control games and few hidden gems too. i still do appreciate el grande a lot and enjoy playing it once or twice a year :).

Totally valid! Appreciate the feedback! As I said in the video, which is mostly just joking around, that all of these games are games I like and love playing! I just think they are overrated. Rated higher than they actually should be. Mage knight is the only game I haven’t played. I played everything else. I was mainly saying it has an unapproachable rulebook. Most people who played the game said they agreed but that the experience is great! I look forward to playing it in the near future. Sorry you were hurt by my comments.

Oh everyone else was having a great time. I wasn't. But it could have been a lot of other factors. One of my favorite games is Blood on the Clocktower! I then saw one of my favorite RUclipsrs crap on the game cause they played it at a convention and it was too loud to hear anything so they had a bad time playing. That makes sense. They could always try to play it again and reconsider their view. But if they so choose to not play again because they had a bad experience then that's ok too! I play games to have a good time. Sometimes I don't enjoy a game. That is totally fine. I wouldn't mind playing the game again though to see if I enjoy it or not. Also keep in mind that I paid money to be at the convention so I wanted to get my money's worth and play as many games as possible. So a lot could go into that! But hey, I'll take the critique. Next time I do an overrated list I'll put 926 Gamers at the number 1 spot lol! Thanks for the comment!

@@925Gamers If you want to learn without the rulebook, it's somewhat possible. I've dabbled in Mage Knight and hardly touched the rulebook or the actual physical game-- there are good RUclips tutorials out there, and I sometimes play a game or two on Tabletop Simulator on Steam, for which there are a couple of *very* good Mage Knight mods. I test a lot of games on Tabletop Simulator to see if they are good for my gaming group or not, or if they are good for solo play, and then I *always* buy the game if I love it-- not on principle, to be honest, but because TTS is deceptively fiddly considering that you are using a keyboard and mouse and not actually breaking out a physical board game. If I like a board game, I want to play it physically, is all.
